The glass BBQ

The glass itself served as an inspiration for Irma. It is often seen as a cold, flat, and comfortless material.
Orenstein wanted to challenge this perception.

Her goal was to achieve softness and depth and add subtle detailing to the material in order to enable the landscape to participate through the material without interference.

Orenstein chose very simple geometric shapes and transformed the glass’ cold, linear geometry into an element of unprecedented depth, opening the way for a world of new interpretations.

The color becomes the element that generates the meaning of the form, transforming the pure geometry of material into an expressive object.
This BBQ is a glass cube that stands alone as a unique sensation piece reflects all the view around open to be a BBQ that provide functional work space.
